Hours of Operation: The Crime Victims Treatment Center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with limited evening hours. Clients are seen by appointment only, (212) 523-4728

Staffing: CVTC has a diverse staff including New York State certified MSW social workers, a Volunteer Coordinator, a legal advocate and a psychiatrist who provides expertise in diagnostic evaluation and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Several staff members are bicultural and bilingual.
Crisis Intervention: CVTC offers crisis intervention immediately following an assault. Services include hospital visits, shelter referral, advocacy with criminal justice agencies and assistance with Crime Victim Compensation or with other compensatory agencies.
Counseling: Professional staff who are specialists in PTSD provide individual, family, couples and group therapy.

Psychiatric/Medical Evaluation: CVTC is one of the few programs state-wide offering psychiatric evaluation, consultation, treatment and medication supervision for clients suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Types and Ages of Patients Served: We provide services to any survivor of a violent crime. We have no catchment or age restrictions.
Fees: CVTC offers free services to survivors of violent crimes without regard to geographic or economic status. Principal funding for CVTC is provided by grants from the New York State Crime Victims Board, the New York State Department of Health, The Scaife Family Foundation and the New York State Department of Criminal Justice.
Speaker's Bureau: CVTC staff is available to provide training and consultation on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, secondary trauma, individual and group treatment modalities.
